The biggest problem with paraffin candles is that they are very harmful to everyone and everything in your home. They contain toxic chemicals called EDCs that are dangerous to your health, the health of children, and even your pets. These toxins build up over time and cause harm.
A really brilliant doctor, Andrew Sledd, who specializes in environmental toxicology, stated that, “burning a candle for one hour is like smoking a single cigarette”. Consequently, when you burn paraffin candles, you are harming your children and pets. Side effects include coughing, stomach problems, skin problems, and overall, health problems.
Our solution at Nancy Dianne Candles is to prioritize using safe and eco-friendly materials for our luxury candles. Our focus is on selecting non-toxic, sustainable, and reusable materials. Our clean scents are free from harmful chemicals that can cause cancer, genetic changes, or harm reproductive and organ systems. Put simply, our candles are phthalate-free and don't contain any of the dangerous substances listed on CA Proposition 65.
